Navajo Awards

Our Chair, Tony Griffin, is currently fevering away preparing for this year’s Navajo Awards.

If you’ve never been before, the awards celebrate those organisations going that extra mile for their LGBTQI+ staff and customers. In recognition of this, they are awarded a Navajo charter mark to recognise their achievements. If you’re interested to know more, please see the Navajo page on this website.

This year, the theme of the ceremony focuses on our youth. I’m sure many of us can recall our experiences as a young person coming to terms with our identities and I’m sure I’m not alone in hoping life has improved for today’s youth… but has it really? Well, young people from across the region will be there at the ceremony to update us!

The ceremony will be held at Liverpool Community College Learning Exchange on Friday 12th May, 1 – 4.30pm. It is completely free to attend but you must register your place first.

To register your place, please email anthony@merseysideintrust.org post haste as places are going like hot cross buns!
