NHS England will be holding a Transgender and Non-binary network workshop on 14th July at De Vere Holborn Bars, 138-142 Holborn, London, EC1N 2NQ: www.deverevenues.co.uk/en/venues/holborn-bars The nearest tube stop is Chancery Lane.
In advance of the event, they would very much appreciate all members of the network (attending on the 14th or not) to complete this feedback form: Network Questionnaire on their overall experience of being a member of the Network and email it to: england.voice-scgd@nhs.net by 6th July.
For those that can’t attend, NHS England will be webcasting the event. You can access the webcast via this link: www.england.nhs.uk/livestreams and there will also be a Twitter feed from the meeting on the hashtag: #NHSGenderID
NHS England are keen to get as many people contributing to the meeting as possible – including the opportunity to put forward ideas and vote – so please do spread the news.
Incidentally, there is a blog post from Will Huxter, Chair of the NHS England Gender Identity Task and Finish Group, entitled Championing the Needs of the Transgender Community, here: www.england.nhs.uk/2016/06/will-huxter-12/ It makes for interesting reading.
